Responsible Military Use of AI: Bridging the Gap between Principles and Practice

From the backroom to the battlefield, AI is now being integrated into the full spectrum of military operations, including in logistics, intelligence collection, wargaming, decision-making, target identification, and weapons systems with increasing levels of autonomy.

In response, Carnegie Council and the Oxford Institute for Ethics, War and Armed Conflict convened a special panel discussion at the Responsible AI in the Military Domain (REAIM) Summit in Seoul. It was moderated by Dr. Brianna Rosen, strategy and policy fellow at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government. Watch the full panel below.
